T. Ray Campbell currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Information Systems (CIS) at Livingstone College in Salisbury, he teaches the Information Security Track and Computing in Society. He received his MBA from the University of Phoenix and his Bachelor of Science from the University of the West Indies.
He has completed his ABD and is currently finishing his research for his Ph.D in Information Systems. His research interest includes technology strategies, architecture, and infrastructure for business-aligned applications, Self-Authorizing Systems for secured networks, network survivability, and intrusion detection systems in cloud infrastructure.
He is a contributor to the knowledge in the fields of network security, technology in education, and ethics in technology and has published conference materials in IEEE conference proceedings in his areas of interests. He has a long-term commitment to the education and advancement of information technology with particular emphasis and development for underrepresented groups and minorities.
Working with STARS Alliance, he is interested in advancing the representation of females in computing and is working with on campus and external high schools in furthering a synergy for wider engagement.. He has an enthusiastic interests in iPhone application development and is a member of the IEEE, ACM, and Black Data Processing Associates professional organizations.
